A group of three trick-or-treaters knocking on the door of the New Orleans residence of the Parker Family early Wednesday included a child dressed in a cowboy costume, another dressed as Buzz Lightyear, and a third dressed as Eli Manning who, in fact, turned out to be Eli Manning.
When I opened the door, I saw the three of them, I said, “Well don’t all of you look just darling,” said Alicia Parker, 53. ”But I was surprised that the youngster dressed as the football player seemed so, well, tall.”
“But he had this enormous smile on his face and when he thrust his little pumpkin out toward me and squealed, ‘trick or treat!,’ well, my heart just melted.”
“I brought out the big bowl of candy and said,’now who wants some mini-Snickers bars?’” reecalls Earl Parker, 55. All three of them shouted, ‘Me, me, me!’” But gosh almighty if that big tall one wasnt shouting the loudest of them all. I guess some little tykes just never grow up, do they?”
