NEW YORK – After yet another disastrous outing that saw him throw 3 interceptions to raise his league leading total to 15, Giants QB Eli Manning cut Giants QB Eli Manning early this morning from his fantasy football team, “The Manning Hattens,” sources have confirmed.
“I can’t wait any longer for me to turn it around,” Manning said of Manning. “When I drafted me in the 9th round, I thought I was getting a steal. But after yet another multi-interception game, it’s obvious I’m just wasting a roster spot on myself. It’s time to cut my losses and move on from me.”
After five weeks of play, Manning’s fantasy squad has a disappointing 0-5 record, due in large part to the lack of points Manning has given Manning at the QB position.
“There’s nothing worse than watching your fantasy QB stink it up game after game,” Manning said shortly after releasing Manning. “Lucky for me, I’ve had to work during every one of my QB’s games, so I never had to actually watch any of those messes.”
